Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to explain the problem of the establishment of Nahua and Mixtec artisans in the tourist cities of the northwest of the country, once they have been pushed to migrate due to their deficiencies, from their communities of origin. In an analysis of the narratives about their personal family and neighborhood histories, obtained by observing their daily life practices and indepth interviews about their tourism integration strategies, we proceeded to code and obtain categories for empirical explanation and established theoretical generalizations, in order to account for the social contradictions.
