Abstract
The objective of this research is to analyze the different
strategies and technologies that have been implemented
in the admission exams of various universities around the
world, in order to make them more accessible for people
with visual and hearing impairments. Through bibliographic
reviews, the applied strategies are identified and the barriers
that these people face when taking admission exams
are recognized. Technological management can play an
important role in promoting inclusive admission processes
in HEIs, especially in the case of EXHCOBA. This study
highlights the importance of adopting technological management
in admission processes in HEIs, and working in
collaboration with students, teaching and support staff, as
well as experts in assistive technologies to achieve it, considering
the different perspectives as a systematic task, in
synergy and consistency with the needs marked by human
rights and reason.
