Abstract
This article analyzes the role of the heideggerian Sorge (care) in the theoretical proposals of Horst-Jürgen Gerigk and Paul Ricoeur on the interpretative act of the literary work, precisely, the narrative. This notion is understood from the ricoeurian perspective as the existential condition of human action in the world that is projected to be understood through the mediation of narrative function. In this context, the narrative would provide the reader with an explanatory model that can also shape his care. On the other hand, Gerigk is mainly interested in omitting the care at the reading comprehension level. His purpose is to highlight the situational structure of the literary work itself. Despite the supposed polarity, a detailed reading of ricoeurian analysis about textuality will superimpose the narrative configuration over the receptive prejudice, which will allow an arbitration between both perspectives.
