Abstract
This research sought to know the experience of students who held a job during the virtual classes that were taught due to the confinement of COVID-19. Those enrolled in the 2020-2021 school year of the degree in Sociology of Communication and Education of the UAGro. They provided their testimony about their dual role and the impact it had on their online learning activities. To collect the information, two questionnaires were applied, the first, with closed questions, to identify those who had a job and the second, with open questions, in which they explain why they were employed during the pandemic.
