Memories of the COVID-19 pandemic. Experiences of the indirect workers of the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has generated various changes in social conditions. One of the main fields affected is the labor market due to its constraint caused by the confinement policy. For this reason, the objective of the document is to make visible the effects that the pandemic had on those people who, without having a direct employment relationship, will carry out economic activities around the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México (UAEMéx). In methodological terms, the document presents data obtained from semistructured interviews with the group of workers of interest, as well as from the qualitative analysis of their labor strategies.
