Abstract
Agro-industrial waste represents a serious contamination problem, due to the large volumes in which they are generated. However, agro-industrial waste can be revalued to generate biofuels, value-added products, as well as electrical and / thermal energy through zero-waste processes. This would allow solving the contamination problem that these residues represent and generate an alternative source of biofuels, high added value products, and bioenergy
