Abstract

The main goal of this project is to
develop a prototyte of a diagnostic
tool for diabetic rethinopathy
that allows the use of algoritms
developed at Universidad Autonóma
de Querétaro as a part of
the Master’s degree in Artificial
Intelligence. To execute this tool,
it was necessary to collect a vast
amount of information through
different user centered design
tools, in order to generate an
improved product. Similar devices
were studied and the different
contexts and users that this product
interacts with were analysed.
Through the Design Thinking
and Gui Bonsiepe Methods, it
was possible to achieve a better
undestanding of the problem and
the user. Tha validation of the
improvements of the tool was
studied through specific tasks and
three usablity indicators: efficiency,
effectiveness and satisfaction.
