Editorial

Abstract

This issue of Albores, Revista de Ciencias Políticas y Sociales, is the first I have had the honor of editing. I am deeply grateful to the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences at the Autonomus University of Querétaro for the trust placed in me to undertake this important task. I also extend my thanks for their invaluable support to the reviewers, authors, Editorial Committee and Scientific Committee- which lends us its backing- and last but certainly not least, to the editorial team, whose efforts make it possible to publish the journal on schedule and to high standard.

Albores has steadily established itself in its misión to disseminate knowledge in the social sciences, prioritazing content quality and sound editorial practices. As a result, the journal was included in the Latindex 2.0, AmeliCA, and Biblat índices during 2024 and 2025, and this year it achieved indexing in the DOAJ. We Will continue along this path, prioritizing rigor, relevance, and quality, while contributing to the social sciences and critical thought from our position in the editorial field.
