Abstract
The following article is a study case focused on artificial lighting, it is developed in an experimental solar house characterized by being modular, the use of electric light in the different spaces of a house was systematically analyzed in order to understand how does every part work, based on NOM-013- ENER-2004 (Mexican lighting standard). The analysis of the activities performed by the habitant allows the proposal and selection of luminaires with characteristics that will help to enhance the tasks of the habitants(intensity, direct / indirect light, temperature color: cold / warm), contributing to reduce errors or effects on health. Using the DiaLUX ™ software, a light calculation was carried out supporting the project for a proper lighting within the experimental solar house.
