Abstract

Rabbit husbandry, a key activity of rabbit breeding, requires adequate facilities that maintain specific environmental conditions throughout the year despite seasonal climatic variations and, as far as possible, mechanical air conditioning systems that increase the costs of production for its implementation and maintenance. The bioclimatic architecture proposes a linear methodology that allows to make a bioclimatic analysis, which consists in the analysis of the climatic information of the place, the location and the information of the occupants through different tools to obtain a diagnosis and a table of requirements that allow to propose specific passive climatization strategies for the development of the rabbit breeding activity in the study area. These recommendations will be used to generate the construction documents of rabbit breeding facilities in the Amazcala campus of the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro.
