Analysis of the perspectives about corruption in Mexico

Abstract

Corruption in Mexico is a persistent social issue that remains prevalent despite the implementation of anti-corruption mechanisms. This paper aims to analyse perspectives on corruption in Mexico, comparing its levels with other Latin American countries, and to assess the progress of the National Anti-Corruption System (SNA). The methodology used combines descriptive and comparative analysis. The results reveal that the SNA is still in a transitional phase and Mexico exhibits a deficient level of anti-corruption efforts compared to other countries in the region.
