Abstract
The present research, through the Design Thinking methodology, revealed high levels of anxiety in the companions of the internal patients in the Hospital del Niño y la Mujer, and in the regular assistants of Fundación Soffy in the city of Querétaro. As part of this methodology, it is proposed to work with art therapy as coadyuvant to reduce anxiety, in particular through weaving, since it produces a state of fluidity. In order to facilitate its implementation of this therapy, the rigid comb loom is redesigned, making it foldable and adjustable in size, for that reason, MDF was used as a construction material, as well as the laser cutting of the pieces. The resulting tool was tested, so we can observe that users show improvement after two months. This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License.
