Abstract
Due to its physical and geographic characteristics in the world, México is a country very prone to natural disasters such as hurricanes and earthquakes. In September 2017, two high intensity earthquakes occurred at the center and south of the national territory, producing several problems, such as loss of human lives and habitat, as well as injuries. This generates a rupture of the social structure, with greater affectation in the marginalized and small population. A strategy of urban regeneration that has been applied with the aim of solving or reducing different urban social problems in recent years at a global level is the tactical urbanism, so its implementation in these postdisaster towns will detonate and regenerate their socioeconomic-territorial system. This will also allow to determinate if tactical urbanism can serve as the tool of participatory design for the reconstruction of these communities. This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License.
