Abstract
In a process of reconstructing the past, various questions arise about how collective and individual narratives of memory are constructed. Psychoanalysis and history engage in a review of a temporal dimension, addressing the surplus of meaning, enigmatic messages, repetition, as well as events and their linkage. Regarding the role of the researcher, methodological resources in the process of interpretation are discussed within a temporal dimension, delving into abductive method and access to diverse sources for the study of what actually occurred.
