Abstract
This paper describes the importance of family collaboration in a child’s education, as well as for setting up the profile of an entrepreneur. The methodology has a qualitative approach of description and exploration. The data collected includes surveys of specialists in education and semistructured interviews with family mothers. The results show that parental involvement in school work has an impact on children, not only quantitatively, but also emotionally. This participation was visible during the interviews with mothers when they described the activities they carry out to help their children with their homework; i.e., the ritual of the task.
