Abstract
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has transformed the working procedures of numerous sectors in recent years, including the field of architecture. The purpose of this article is to analyze the impact of AI on architecture and determine how this technology contributes to the quality of the designs, the efficiency in the elaboration process and its long-term sustainability, since this field is in constant change. The platforms Midjourney, a creative AI, and Architechtures, an AI in development, were taken into account as examples of tools that currently affect the field. Departing from these constructs, advantages in AI use were proposed, such as efficiency and design generation based on parameters, and disadvantages, such as human intervention loss and codependency.
