Abstract
In this paper is shows the information obtained by the application of a questionnaire to students who attend the fifth semester in a public high school; Information with which it is tried to know the perception, affinity, attitudes, habits, that they have in their work as students of Mathematics within their formation in the high school education, as well as their interaction with the professor of Mathematics and development when carrying out activities of that subject. The questionnaire only seeks to closer, to approach these perceptions, subjective and qualitative, finding its contribution in the possible contrast of the results obtained, without the intention of moving from the particular to the general, it having to exist for this a line of research multidisciplinary future that allows, following a formal and objective methodology, to identify patterns that lead to problematic problems presented by students in the teaching and learning of Mathematics related to their perception of the subject of Mathematics and serve as input to the teachers and educational institutions. In the results obtained contrasts that although more than half of the students surveyed stated that sometimes they liked, attracted, the subject of Mathematics, also more than half chose not to reduce the class hours of this subject in case of that they could do it, where someone of them justified it recognizing the importance of studying this subject.
