Some geometrical aspects of Lagrange Multipliers

Abstract

In this work we show some geometric fundamentals of Lagrange Multipliers, in this way, we pretend to give a more detailed explanation about why they works for solving optimization problems that involve several variables. By a suitable use of variables, we solve a geometric problem with the use of Lagrange  Multipliers. Finally, we show how sometimes the study of a problem is not ended with its solution, instead we can generalize it in a natural way.
