Abstract
In this text, a brief reflection is made on the importance of the resources available in the development of Mathematics for the realization of mathematical practices that have led to the formulation of notions that are studied in secondary school. Emphasis is placed on the importance of the use of languages and means of representation appropriate for mathematical developments and their understanding.
