Abstract
Lately, higher education has experienced a coverage expansion due to political, economic and social changes, along with strong expectations of upward mobility. This expansion seeks to provide students with better work opportunities through the incorporation of
educational technologies and non-face-to- face modalities. The objective is to identify perceptions about teaching learning processes and educational modalities in higher education. Methodology implies a revision of scientific articles from 2015-2019, since the
phenomenon is recent. Results show that world universities have made efforts to build models adapted to their needs and resources, so they improve the quality of the services and stay relevant.
