Abstract

The use of the cell phone in classrooms has been used regularly for communication, but now with the Second Order Social Networks (RSSO), there is a tendency to consider that it is used in classrooms in a distracting way when attending social commitments in other places physicists. In these learning environments there are those who consider that it is impossible to deny their use in the classroom and that the most appropriate is to integrate it as a pedagogical tool. The objective is to know the dual
teacher-student perception of cell phone use in the classroom. In this research, 30 teachers and 136 students were interviewed using a 12-question google form with the Likert scale, removing the neutral option, the basis will be a quantitative methodology. The results obtained from the sample will be analyzed and shown to discuss whether the mobile is a distracting device or a pedagogical tool. This work will contribute to the discussion of the use of mobile phones in classrooms.
