Abstract
At the end of February 2019, schools across the country closed and left students of all levels without classes due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Parents had to organize their lifestyle and take care of their children at home. The workplace for adults also changed as shopping malls, companies and businesses of all kinds began to close. The option for everyone was to work and take classes from home. The educational channels found in the Social Blade list within the top 100 in Mexico were selected. The views and the type of content produced by these educational channels during the pandemic were analyzed. The results showed that four of the six channels found have educational content for children aged 1 to 6 years and are cartoons. The views increased to 694% during the confinement and began to decrease with vaccination and the opening of schools. The possibility that these channels maintain the number of subscribers and that the visualizations continue if the children attend face-to-face classes is discussed.
