Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has generated multiple changes in the work and family life of society worldwide. In Querétaro the orange spotlight continues, and it is not possible to return to classes in person. There are perceptions for and against students continuing this school year. In the educational field, parents have had to undertake favorable alternatives for the academic development of their children. The schools have implemented strategies for the continuity of the school year and trust towards parents. Through an online questionnaire, pertinent information was obtained to analyze the perception of the use of IT, education and the problems generated by the online class modality. The results show that parents have had to be creative in order to support their children by
working at home with them or by leaving them in the care of someone else. The parents have changed their lifestyle and work dynamics in accordance with government health policies.
