Abstract

The aim of this text lies in the conceptual clarification of the main theses maintained by Quine in his famous paper “On what there is”. The tone of the work is introductory, making it perfectly suitable for anyone interested in Quine’s philosophy in general and in “On What There Is” in particular. Despite being one of the most relevant analytical philosophers, there is not an excessive secondary bibliography about Quine in Spanish, so this work has among its virtues the try to solve this issue to some extent.
