This publication brings together a series of research studies addressing various issues and proposals related to design, architecture, the urban environment, and human behavior, all interconnected by their relevance to the development and understanding of the built and social environment. The presented studies cover topics ranging from the importance of design in SMEs and its impact on organizational culture to the influence of musical stimuli on the concentration of university students.

The research also delves into the habitability of the Casa Jardín Ortega, a key work by architect Luis Barragán, analyzing its value from the perspective of emotional architecture and environmental psychology. In the urban sphere, it explores how public spaces, their design, and sensory agents can influence violent behavior. Additionally, other studies highlight the importance of the sense of community in gated communities and traditional neighborhoods, comparing their morphology and social dynamics.

Each study offers a unique perspective that, together, invites reflection on design, habitability, spatial perception, and their impact on human behavior, emphasizing the need for an integrative and conscious approach to creating meaningful spaces and experiences.
