Abstract

This paper presents the results of the development of an intelligent monitoring system for electricity consumption. The system monitors each of the outlet boxes installed in a home, which allows knowing the area and device consumption connected to the network, this data allows the user to modify the use or consumption pattern for each of the connected devices to the electrical network. The connection of the system to the cloud allows to have the consumption data in any place with Internet connection. The scalability of the project is one of the main factors, since this system can be used by intelligent systems such as those of prediction and control of the consumption of electricity.
