Chess as trigger tool of the necessary cognitive skills on the process of math learning

Abstract

This paper presents the benefits of the systematic training of chess, also shows how practicing this science-game could be a triggered tool of the cognitive skills needed to study mathematics, also retrieves the cognitive development described by Piaget, likewise the cognitive skills needed to study mathematics are retrieved, and finally, this paper shows how the chess and mathematics are bounded.
