Abstract
This article presents a compilation of errors identified in the resolution of a pilot activity, executed with an adaptation of ACODESA methodology, on the division algorithm of degree three polynomials with one variable and their respective analysis with the theorical framework of “Semiotic Logical Approach”, in order to determine a possible origin of the errors. The results show prominently the presence of errors during the basic operations with polynomials by students who have already completed high school algebra subjects, these are probably due to the didactics with which they received the algebraic content and to a deficiency in arithmetic content.
