Abstract
This paper presents some properties and applications of constant width figures, as well as some ways to construct them. This in order to show that very interesting concepts can be accessed (and have real applications) with only basic notions of Geometry, which allows that this topic can be addressed in an elementary course of Geometry to teach in an attractive way concepts such as perpendicular line, parallel line, tangent line, etc., to the students of this subject.
