Abstract

The impossible statue is a work developed with the help of artificial intelligence. Its elaboration has entailed a reconfiguration of the concept of art. In this context, the implications of artistic creation based on technological development necessarily lead to an analysis of the authenticity, authorship, and aesthetic value of artistic objects generated with the assistance of AI. This paper presents the context and the general process of creating The impossible statue, as well as the questions to be developed regarding artistic production in the coming years.
