Abstract
Technology has brought about reducing processes and facilitating them, most of the population has a cell phone with them to which they dedicate much of their time and attention, designers and artists who dedicate themselves to digital art use technologies as platforms that serve inspiration, reference, consultation and as a dissemination tool as part of the undertaking. In what way does technology influence the creation of artistic work and how is this related to the digital image? Under this question, the objectives have been raised to know the concept of digital art that the Visual Arts community of the UAQ Faculty of Fine Arts has and how it applies it to generate artistic projects or works, as well as its impact on their creative processes. All these questions will be answered by conducting a semi-guided interview, validating using the Atlas.ti 8 version 1.6 program. By analyzing the answers, it is intended to be able to reach conclusions where a definition of digital art can be created proposed by the two Visual Arts communities, graphic
designers and visual artists. Therefore, if I do the interviews then I will have the knowledge of the concept of digital art and how it is applied in artistic projects and creative processes. 67.7% of artists affirm that technologies have helped their creative process and that there are considerable advantages that living in a digital age has brought to art.
