Abstract
This article is divided into three parts: the first one to trace the way the Negro was expelled from reason, with the findings of Martin Bernal and his monumental work on Ancient Greece and the works of Charles W. Mills on the Philosophy and race; the second is an
overview of Paget’s central theses in his illuminating book Caliban’s Reason. Introducing Afro-Caribbean Philosophie (2000); and, finally, I put under consideration some of the ways in which the Afro-Caribbean philosophy of Caliban is expressed.
