Albores. Revista de Ciencias Políticas y Sociales

For its seventh edition, Albores presents research articles that share Mexico as a common setting of analysis, approached from three distinct perspectives. First, a local perspective is offered through studies conducted in Coahuila, Querétaro, and Mexico City. Second, at the national level, one article analyzes the electoral performance of the ruling political party, while another explores the experiences of Mexican women athletes in sports. Third, from an international standpoint, the country's trade relations and alliances are examined.

Although the general focus of the articles is on the Mexican context, “An Approach to Public Policies in Populist Governments” by Yadira Pérez Serrano is set in the United States, offering an international view of populism and highlighting its points of contact with political phenomena in Mexico.
