With this number of Psychology, Education & Society (PE&S) celebrates its fifth anniversary as a forum dedicated to the dissemination of scientific knowledge in the fields of psychology, education and the social sciences. This milestone reaffirms the journal’s commitment to publishing original research, fostering interdisciplinary dialogue and strengthening a diverse and international academic community. In line with its rolling publication schedule, this issue will progressively feature new contributions throughout the semester. We invite our readers to keep an eye out for forthcoming publications in the special issue ‘The Reconfiguration of the Academic Profession in Mexico: Between Structural Precarisation and the Pursuit of Merit’, dedicated to one of the most significant debates on higher education in the contemporary context.

Psicología, Educación & Sociedad (PE&S) is a scientific, digital and open access journal of the Faculty of Psychology of the Autonomous University of Querétaro (Mexico), which aims to promote and disseminate the formation of original knowledge within the field of psychology (including psychoanalysis), education and social sciences. The journal is characterised by its plural and multidisciplinary nature in the interactions of psychological and educational areas. It is addressed to researchers and postgraduates from the international community. PE&S welcomes both unpublished and original manuscripts of basic and applied research as well as theoretical and reflective ones that make novel contributions to psychological, educational and social studies; as well as translations, interviews and book reviews in Spanish, English, Portuguese and French. Only articles are submitted to a strict double-blind refereeing process by specialists in the field.
