Abstract

Nowadays, the international scientific community efforts are aimed at achieving a sustainable development. To this end, the United Nations Organization has proposed seventeen objectives, some of which are related to the industrial sector. Originally, most productive companies in the industrial sector were conceived under the linear economy concept, where both resources and demand are infinite. This paradigm has changed towards a circular economy, in which raw materials are kept inadequate conditions for as long as possible, which allows the extraction of new materials to be reduced. For this reason, this article proposes a methodology that allows tracing the route of industrial processes towards sustainability.
