Author Guidelines

Before you start the process of submitting your manuscript, please make sure that your article complies with the journal's publication guidelines. In the following steps, we will ask you for all the information necessary to manage your article: authors and affiliations, contact details, title, abstract in English and Spanish, short title, keywords, and finally, to upload the text files (cover letter, blinded main manuscript, supplementary material) in Word format. It is essential that the references as well as the rest of the manuscript follow APA 6th edition standards. In addition, authors are recommended to check whether the references included in their work have a DOI, for which they can use crossref.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The text adheres with the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
