Abstract

The contemporary discourse on Craft Work is crucial, particularly amid the transformations sparked by the global pandemic, with a specific focus on its impact on holistic health. Intense competition in global markets poses challenges for artisanal practices, leading to issues like overexploitation of natural resources, a lack of recognition for artisans, and diminished commercialization. These challenges prompt a reassessment of Artisanal Work, urging a transition from traditional to current approaches. This shift holds the potential to positively influence holistic health by alleviating stress, preventing addictions, and mitigating various diseases. Drawing
from research in Querétaro and Guanajuato municipalities, insights were gleaned from interviews with cardboard and vegetable fiber artisans. The findings deepen our understanding of contemporary artisanal practices and underscore the sector's significance in promoting holistic health amidst the complexities of the modern era.
