Abstract
compared to men, due to the way in which the consequences of the recent pan
demic developed. Aspects linked to the field of care and the labor market compli
cated the situation for women, but not for men. Rather than heading toward hu
man flourishing, these elements would point to a possible historic setback in
gender equality and a move toward withering.
