Ancient Traces and Spectra in the Genesis of Agamben’s Homo Sacer

Abstract
							This work carries out a study on some central sources in the construction of one of the main categories of the entire work of Giorgio Agamben, such as that of Homo Sacer. In order to achieve that, first, we will be a display some counterpoints with contemporary authors (such as Derrida, Benveniste or Foucault) and then present a more specific study on Aristotle and Cicero, as indubitable references of the ideology and ancient practices in relation to sovereignty.
